Monaco Gravel Race is a premier event in the UCI Gravel
World Series, offering cyclists a unique opportunity to
qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championships. Held in
the picturesque village of Peille, perched at 650 meters
in the Alpes-Maritimes region, the race traverses the
stunning gravel tracks of the Mercantour National Park,
providing an exceptional natural setting between sea and
mountains.
The event features two main race
options: a challenging 120 km course with 2,400 meters of
elevation gain, and a shorter 83 km route with 1,800
meters of climbing, designed for men over 60 and women
over 50. Both courses commence and conclude with an 8 km
loop, incorporating iconic climbs such as the Col de Braus
and Col du Castillon, and passing through the highest
hilltop village on the Mediterranean coast, Saint
Agnès.
